Client: Amthal Checks Security For New Chess Telecom’s Offices
Amthal has partnered with Chess Telecom to design, install and maintain a bespoke fire and security system for the award-winning company’s new office premises.
Chess Telecom, a company cited second in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for in 2016, is a voice, connect, cloud and digital specialist that aims to help companies to improve their communications experience and reduce their costs.
To accommodate team growth, the company moved into new offices and following a successful 15-year relationship with Amthal Fire and Security, employed its services as soon as the property contracts were signed to design a bespoke system to exactly match the new office requirements.
Says Adrienne Watt, Head of Operations at Chess Telecom: “Security of our team and workplace is absolutely key to the successful running of our business. The new offices provided us with the perfect opportunity to design from scratch a fire and security system that matched our specific needs.
“We had no hesitation in retaining the services of Amthal, with whom we have shared a close working partnership for many years. The team worked meticulously through the detail to ensure all fire and security measures were accommodated in the design process. The installation was completed with minimal disruption and they continue to work with us and are in regular communications to make sure it is maintained to the highest possible standard.”
The bespoke system created by Amthal’s engineering team includes intruder protection, CCTV, fire and access control systems throughout the new offices. Amthal now maintains its services for Chess Telecom and Adrienne and the operations team is kept up to date with any scheduled testing or update requirements.
Paul Rosenthal, Sales Director for Amthal Fire and Security added: “What Chess Telecom demonstrates is the importance of designing a fire and security system early on for a new premises. We had the benefit of a blank canvas and literally walked through the office to ensure all areas and product requirements were captured.
“During the concept phase, we held a number of meetings with the team, acting as a fire and security consultant and taking the time to understand any changes needed, presenting different options and working together to put a final plan in place that met their budget.”
“This way, the fire and security system was installed with minimal disruption and could serve to keep the staff and visitors safe and secure practically from the day the company moved in! We continue to operate a scheduled service and support package to maintain all fire and systems above and beyond the call of duty.”
