Amthal Fire & Security has partnered with Glinwell PLC since 2005 to secure and protect their site. What started as a single CCTV installation has grown into a long-term collaboration covering fire safety, access control, and remote monitoring, evolving alongside Glinwell’s expanding operations and workforce.
The partnership began early in Glinwell’s St Albans’ site development. Says Matthew Simon, who joined Glinwell in 2004 and is now the General Manager: “When we first engaged Amthal, our main requirement was CCTV coverage for the new site. It was a straightforward installation, but it was carried out professionally and efficiently. That experience gave us confidence in their approach, and over the years that trust has only grown.”
As Glinwell expanded, the need for more comprehensive safety and security measures was evident. Amthal responded in partnership by introducing fire detection systems and access control solutions, ensuring all aspects of the site were protected as new buildings and operations came online.
Amthal recently installed an Advanced MX Pro panel integrated with a Nimbus Connect, remote fire alarm management system. This upgrade allows centralised monitoring and control, giving Glinwell the ability to manage fire safety efficiently across multiple buildings while maintaining high standards of compliance and operational safety.
