Supporting UK Growth with Integrated Life Safety and Security

Client: SISL Global

Amthal has completed the delivery of a fully integrated security and life safety solution for international managed service provider SISL Global at its new Watford facility, helping prepare it as part of the company’s ongoing UK growth.

Operating across EMEA, North America and Asia, SISL Global provides managed IT services, infrastructure support, technology procurement and logistics solutions for enterprise and telecommunications organisations.

Aligned with its UK growth strategy, Amthal was appointed for its new Watford site to design, supply and install a full suite of security and life safety systems including intruder alarms, fire detection, CCTV, access control and fire extinguishers.

Delivered within the wider fit-out programme, the installation was tailored to meet the operational needs of the building while protecting employees, visitors and contractors across the premises.

Says Ankur Gupta, Director of SISL Global: “As the new facility will support a growing area of our UK operations, it was important for us to ensure the environment was fully prepared ahead of occupation. Having the fire and security infrastructure delivered by Amthal within one programme gave us confidence the site could be handed over ready for immediate operational use and maintained to present continued total protection.”

Working closely with SISL Global throughout the project, Amthal coordinated the installation to align with the building’s layout, compliance obligations and day-to-day use.

Managing all systems under a single contract helped streamline delivery, maintain programme timelines and create a consistent approach across the facility during the fit-out process.

The infrastructure was designed to accommodate the movement of staff and visitors throughout the site while providing remote monitoring, controlled access and comprehensive fire protection measures. Each element was configured to work seamlessly within the wider building environment, helping simplify long-term management of the facility.

David Williamson, Business Development Manager at Amthal Fire & Security, concluded: “Projects like this require close coordination across multiple disciplines to ensure every system works seamlessly within the wider building environment. From initial design through to commissioning, our focus was on delivering a solution that is straightforward to manage, adaptable for the future and fully aligned with the operational demands of the site.”
