Meet Our Team

Paul is one of two founding Directors, who along with John Allam incorporated Amthal in 2000, both having worked for Secom for many years. Paul focuses on key account management and business development, and is a traditional face to face relationship builder who once met is rarely forgotten, while enjoying supporting and developing the younger members of the sales team. Outside of work Paul enjoys cycling and as a result has peddled his way to raising significant funds for various charities over the years.

John is one of two founding Directors, who along with Paul Rosenthal incorporated Amthal in 2000, both having worked for Secom for many years. John operates as Group Project Director within the operations team, supporting across the team especially with key projects and developing the younger engineering team members. John enjoys spending his free time on his tractor on the family farm.

Jamie joined Amthal in 2008 as Commercial Director transitioning to Group CEO in 2020. His responsibilities include setting and leading on Amthal's sustainable growth strategy, driving acquisition initiatives which to date have include both asset and share purchases, along with supporting the board of directors. Jamie has a passion for mentoring and developing individuals to fulfil their potential and while away from work likes to relax playing golf and football.

Reece leads the senior leadership team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while driving strategic growth initiatives. With a background in finance and a strong focus on people management, he brings a structured, collaborative approach to business leadership, contributing both strategically and operationally, with a leadership style centred on collaboration, accountability, and bringing out the best in people. Since 2015, he has played a key role in scaling the business, starting as a finance apprentice and progressing through the ranks whilst continuing finance studies with CIMA. Outside of work, Reece is a keen sportsman, regularly playing football and golf.

Richard is a highly motivated and committed Senior Sales Leader with 35 years in the industry, and 30 years’ experience at Chubb Fire and Security. Having held several senior leadership roles, he has a proven history of success in leading, building and implementing sales strategies in both the Private and Public Sector. Recognised for and focused on driving sustainable growth whilst strengthening customer relationships and creating internal collaboration. A family man and happily married with 2 daughters, he enjoys cooking, dining out, walking his 2 West Highland Terriers and watching his favourite football team, where he has held a season ticket for 25 years.

Sam drives operational excellence across the department, ensuring we are providing a compliant and efficient service whilst consistently maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. He innovates and drives change with internal and external stakeholders to adapt and develop processes to improve internal efficiency and customer experience. Sam is proud to have played his part in the growth of the business since 2015, which in itself is a standout achievement. A keen golfer, he regularly participates in charity and networking events with our valued customers.

Amanda’s role is to ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations and builds the foundation to deliver a compliant service. This involves communicating both internally and externally, conducting regular audits, reviewing and developing compliance policies. Amanda enjoys the opportunity to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment, in the knowledge that she is helping to protect the company, its team members and clients by promoting a culture of integrity and accountability. In her spare time, she loves going on long walks with her dog, and often been known to accidentally include a pub stop!

Amy has had a wide-ranging career in finance including spells in the tech and leisure sectors before joining Amthal. She is passionate about sharing her experience and developing the skills of her young team and inspiring the next generation of professional women in finance. In her free time she's an enthusiastic padel player and has a passion for reading, live music and theatre.

Miranda is excited to be a part of the Amthal group in our People & Culture role. With 25 years' experience in People related roles across Public Sector, Financial Services, Staffing Sales & Consulting. She has led global teams across each of the People disciplines – HR, Talent and L&D. Miranda is excited to work with the Group to build a highly engaging, high-performance culture; developed through trust, continuous feedback, and collaboration. She aims to align the people plan with our organisation ambitions so that we all achieve our own North Star Goals – as one team. On a personal note, she is usually frustrated by her premier league team of choice and consoled by walking her Border Terrier – to somewhere that ends at a pub!

Paul is a versatile and commercially astute marketing professional, experienced operating at a senior level in SME’s in the UK and overseas. His 35 years of cross sector experience enable him to create and implement traditional and digital marketing strategies to meet brand, customer and product marketing challenges. As part of senior management teams, he has been responsible for leading marketing departments in companies who out-performed the market, increasing sales and growing market share. A family man with 4 children, he still finds time to run, read or relax watching his favourite football team.

Jacki started his working life in the family fire and security business, joining AFS 8 years ago as an Installation Engineer. His confident demeanour and quiet determination to deliver the best service to customers saw him rise quickly to Senior Installation Engineer followed by Installation Supervisor and now Quoted Works Manager with responsibility for installation, takeovers and quoted repairs. Jacki is always on the lookout for ways to develop and improve the team as they strive for excellence in all they do. An avid traveller, he has just completed renovating his first campervan which he now hopes will take the family around the UK and Europe.

Jason began his career in the industry in 1994 with Modern Security Systems (now ADT), starting by answering calls and learning the technical aspects of security systems through support roles and eventually Trainee Engineer. Over the years Jason has held roles with ADT before joining Secom PLC where he transitioned from field work into a management role, developing his leadership and operational skills. He moved to AFS in 2019, and quickly became part of the management team, overseeing both Fire and Security operations in a Service role. Jason is a proud husband and father and is passionate about sports, especially football and rugby.
