New Home, New Security With Amthal

Client: New Home, New Fire & Security by Amthal

Amthal has added intruder protection and fire safety measures for new homeowners to ensure complete peace of mind.

When Mr and Mrs Fineman moved into their new home, their first priority was to ensure its security, with an alarm fitted to protect their valuables and assets, both in the home and garage.

The couple, new to Hertfordshire, were referred to Amthal Fire and Security, who came out free of charge, to assess the fire and security requirements. They built a bespoke alarm system for the home, which was fitted alongside smoke alarms with minimal turnaround time and is now monitored for ultimate security.

Says Mr Fineman: “Although my wife and I know the area to be relatively quiet, with a dedicated neighbourhood watch right on our doorstep and even considering impending building work we want to complete, we were very conscious of adding an alarm as a priority for our new home, to ensure it was protected and our belongings secure.

“We were recommended Amthal Fire and Security, based on previous customer experience. They came round to assess the house and ensure the alarm fitted would suit our requirements. Once this design stage was complete, Amthal booked in an installation date and before we knew it, our home was safe and secure! The whole process was seamless from start to finish and we would have no hesitation in passing on Amthal Fire and Security as a recommendation for anyone looking to professionally secure their home.”

Amthal fitted a Texecom Ricochet Wireless Intruder Alarm System, including door and window contacts, passive movement detection (PIR’s) and 24 hour smoke detectors, all connected to a telecoms dialler module to phone Mr and Mrs Fineman and alert them to any activations while they are away from the property.

John Allam, Operations Director at Amthal Fire and Security added: “New homeowners are twice as likely to be burgled in the first twelve months of moving as updating the security is often overlooked in favour of more exciting, aesthetic updates.

“What Mr and Mrs Fineman have shown is the importance of taking fire risks and security of a new home seriously, to contact a professional security installer and seek free professional advice. This is even if you are planning works to the home as PIR’s fitted can be rearranged to suit new layouts. We always carry out works quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption, and our work continues to be recommended amongst homeowners.”
